The only activity better than shopping is filling online shopping carts with things you can’t afford. It’s so therapeutic. I should be doing something more beneficial to my health, like yoga, but I can’t even bend over to get my socks on. So filling the shopping cart it is.
If you are a Fixer Upper fan than you’ve probably already heard that Magnolia Home is at Pier 1 Imports. I want everything.
My home will soon be filled with boys (my husband, baby, and cat) and I have been planning to create a Lady’s Den. We have an empty, unused space and I want to fill it with feminine charm. I like choosing a starting point before decorating a room. I find a pillow, rug, pillow, or blanket that I love and base everything else off its colors and patterns.
It has the grays that I have throughout the house and the pinks that I’m dying to incorporate in the den. It’s farmhouse glam perfection. Here’s the colors I pulled out of the pillow.
Of course, Joanna Gaines made a beautiful rug that matches.
I want to put a desk in the den, so I can work and blog in a quiet place. However, I also want to be able to relax and have some girlfriends up there for some wine and gossip time. I came across this desk at target. It closes, so I can hide my work when it’s time to relax. It also has that vintage look that matches the pillow perfectly. Adding a bar cart brings some glam (and functionality) into the room. Add some wine glasses, flowers, and fun accent pieces with pops of color.
Lastly, I’ll need a comfy place to sit with that glass of wine. Target has super chic furniture these days. This couch brings the whole look together and pillow I started the design with would look fantastic against the taupe color. They also have it in gray, which would look great. My room is small, so I would go with the lighter color that would make it seem bigger than it really is.
I’ve included links below for each product. My shopping carts are full, and I’ve exited each site promptly. Namaste.
